Solo-first launch

Pricing.

Solo is the public launch path: $99/month or $990/year for founder-operators who already use QuickBooks Online and want a clearer month-end accountant handoff. Guided setup is only for the first controlled pilot buyer while we verify the product path.

Launch plan

Solo

The only public launch plan: self-serve month-end close support for founder-operators already using QuickBooks Online.

$99/mo

$990/year (save 2 months)

  • QuickBooks Close Readiness Packet: missing receipts, review issues, recurring spend, source coverage, and accountant handoff README
  • Month-end issue list: uncategorized spend, missing evidence, duplicates, and owner-review candidates
  • Ask ArnBooks: plain-English answers from available QuickBooks, CSV, and workspace data
  • QuickBooks remains your ledger - ArnBooks gives review guidance before anything changes

All tiers are designed around your existing QuickBooks Online file, exports, Close Packet handoff files, and supporting evidence. ArnBooks provides review guidance; it is not tax advice, CPA services, or full-service bookkeeping.

What you are buying

Solo software first. Close Packet handoff built into the month-end workflow.

Solo gives solopreneurs the ArnBooks month-end support workspace around QuickBooks Online: issue lists, Close Packet exports, evidence questions, recurring spend review, and Ask ArnBooks. Early guided setup is a validation step for pilot buyers, not a permanent human-onboarding promise.

Review first

Solo starts with the actual review evidence: Close Packet files, source coverage, and items that need owner or accountant judgment.

AI layer after

The findings become an ongoing ArnBooks workspace for issue lists, evidence questions, recurring spend, and Ask ArnBooks.

Guided pilot setup

The first controlled buyer can get setup guidance while we watch, document snags, and turn them into product onboarding.

Control stays with you

ArnBooks does not replace QuickBooks and does not provide tax, CPA, or full-service bookkeeping services.

How this compares

Solo is the lane for launch.

Different bookkeeping options solve different problems. ArnBooks launches with one lane: keep your current QuickBooks setup and add founder-focused month-end review around it.

Bench refugees

Bench's December 2024 shutdown left a lot of owners wary of putting their whole bookkeeping function inside one closed provider. ArnBooks is different: your QuickBooks stays the ledger, and the review notes and issue list are yours to keep.

Full-service bookkeeping firms

Full-service bookkeeping firms can make sense when you want a team to own the bookkeeping function. ArnBooks is narrower: founder-operators on QuickBooks who want month-end visibility, issue lists, and handoff support without replacing the whole workflow.

DIY ChatGPT or Claude API

You can build pieces yourself if you want the learning project. The tradeoff is weeks of QBO OAuth work, deterministic math guardrails, prompt design, testing, and cleanup before you get back to running the business.

FAQ

Pricing questions, answered plainly.

Why is ArnBooks launching Solo first?+

Solo is the launch product: a self-serve workspace for month-end issue lists, Close Packet exports, evidence questions, Ask ArnBooks, and recurring spend review around your existing QuickBooks Online file and exports. The first buyer may get guided pilot setup while we watch the machine, but Solo is not a done-for-you cleanup, tax advice, or bookkeeping service.

Is Concierge available?+

Not as the public launch path. ArnBooks is starting with Solo only. Any hands-on audit or custom engagement is limited, manual, and separate from the Solo checkout.

What if I don't have QuickBooks Online yet?+

ArnBooks is built for QuickBooks Online first. QuickBooks remains the ledger; ArnBooks organizes the month-end review around it. If you are not on QuickBooks yet, Solo is probably not the right first step.

Do I keep my existing bookkeeper?+

Yes. ArnBooks is not positioned as a bookkeeper replacement. Your bookkeeper can keep working in QuickBooks, and ArnBooks gives you, the owner, a way to see patterns, ask questions, review exceptions, and hand over clearer context.

How does guided pilot setup work?+

The first controlled buyer may get hands-on help connecting QuickBooks, confirming workspace access, and checking the first issue-list flow. That guidance is for launch validation; the broad Solo onboarding path should become in-app checklist, docs, and support escalation.

Can I cancel Solo?+

Yes. Solo monthly is month-to-month. Solo annual is prepaid for the year at the published annual price. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period.

Is there a refund policy?+

If checkout or access fails, contact support and we will fix the account or unwind the payment. Other refunds are discretionary and generally limited to 14 days after a charge.

Will Solo produce a formal audit?+

No. Solo can produce a read-only QuickBooks Close Readiness Packet for handoff review. It is not a formal audit, CPA deliverable, tax report, or done-for-you cleanup engagement.

Ready?

Start with Solo.

Solo is the launch plan. The Close Packet gives you a concrete handoff file before month-end; broad onboarding will become in-app product flow, not a standing human service.
